The Meaning of Helios
Why are we called Helios Communications?
He·li·os (he´le os), n. The Greek sun god.
The Sun — its god, known as Sol to the Romans. Helios was the son of Titans Hyperion and Theia, and the brother of Selene (moon) and Eos (dawn).
By day he brought light to the world by driving his four-horse sun-chariot across the sky from east to west. By night, he sailed in a great golden bowl back to his home in the east, floating along the river of Ocean that encircled the earth. Because he was all-seeing he was called to witness oaths and promises.
Like Helios, our company is:
- Clear in our communications, by acting as a source of light to illuminate these through key messages and positioning;
- Constant in our strategy, by continuing to communicate these messages effectively in different environments and markets; and
- Consistent in facilitating ongoing relationships with key target audiences in order to help our clients achieve their stated business goals, strategies and objectives.
